About Us

My name is Damone Eubank and I am the founder of Indy Blackout Basketball. I started this program with the sole purpose of giving Indianapolis youth the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship. 

I know first hand how youth sports can impact someone's life. Growing up on the eastside of Indianapolis and coming from a single parent household, sometimes sports weren't feasible. Without the hard work and dedication from my mother and the coaches that were introduced in my life I was able to earn a basketball scholarship as well as my two brothers. The impact the game has had on my life I am forever grateful. This is why I started Indy Blackout, to give opportunities to kids like me that didn't always have the funds to be apart of a quality organization where they can grow as athletes but also productive members in their communities.
